Your recurring support funds the advocacy, education, and community organizing that make Durham a safer, more connected city. Sustainers keep our programs running year-round — from protected bike lane campaigns to kids learning to ride for the first time.

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT FUNDS

Every dollar from Sustainers goes directly toward Bike Durham's three core programs:

Advocacy — We organize residents to show up at City Council, push for protected infrastructure, and hold Durham accountable to its transportation goals. Sustainers fund the campaigns that move policy.

Education — Our Safe Routes to School program teaches hundreds of Durham students to ride safely each year. We also run adult Learn to Ride classes and Transit Travel Training for residents navigating the bus system for the first time.

Community Events — From group rides to Move-A-Bull City Open Streets, our events bring thousands of Durham residents together around biking, walking, and transit. Sustainers make them possible.
