The 2026 Bull City Bike Stampede

Nearly 300 riders kicked off Bike Month 2026 with the Bull City Bike Stampede, the largest group ride in the Triangle.

Riders gathered at Crank Arm Durham while the Durham Bike Co-op providing free tune-ups. The group rolled out at noon for a 6.2-mile ride through Durham, followed by a 1.1-mile accessible-friendly Stampede Lite ride.

After the rides, the block party took over Fernway Ave from 1:00 to 3:30 with DJ UyMami, Hollywood Taco, a Bull City themed costume contest, merch, and cold ones from Crank Arm.
