Join Black Girls Do Bike Raleigh-Durham for the League of American Bicyclists' Smart Cycling Class—a comprehensive course designed to help you ride safely, confidently, and predictably on today's roads.

Through classroom instruction, hands-on skills practice, and real-world riding, you'll gain practical knowledge that you can use on every ride.

During this class, you'll learn:

  • Essential bike handling skills

  • Road positioning and traffic skills

  • Rules of the road and cyclist responsibilities

  • How to ride confidently as part of traffic

  • How to share the road safely with motorists and pedestrians

  • Parking lot skills drills

  • Real-world road riding techniques
