Rescue Racing is helping bring a bike lane sweeper to Durham! They are hosting a fundraiser ride on Sunday, September 20 at 9 AM at The Daily Beer Bar, with proceeds going toward the purchase of a bike lane sweeper. A $40 donation is suggested for the ride.

Rescue Racing has already raised $2,500 toward the $4,000 goal, thanks to a $1,000 private donation and a $1,500 match pledged by The Daily Beer Bar.

Bike Durham will use the bike lane sweeper for bus stop and bike lane cleanups every other month. Stay tuned for opportunities to join us as volunteer and help put the sweeper to work keeping Durham’s bike infrastructure clean and clear.
