BIKE STAMPEDE: Saturday, May 3rd @ 11:30am (downtown CCB Plaza) - Join us for the Bull City Bike Stampede. Saddle up for Bike Month 2025 and join the charge as we take over Durham’s streets! Roll out from CCB plaza at 12pm - afterparty at Crank Arm starting at 1pm. *Special prize for the rider with the most Durham-themed costume!* (Click to Register)
WALK, BIKE & ROLL TO SCHOOL: Wednesday, May 7th-9th (Throughout Durham) - Get in on Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day and walk or bike to to school with one of the many bike trains organized across Durham Public Schools. Visit the DPS website for details.
BIKE TO WORK DAY: Thursday, May 15th @ 8:00am (downtown CCB Plaza) - Bike to work with Bike Durham to Boxyard RTP. The ride is about 8.5 miles mostly on greenway (one section is on-street unprotected bike lane). This is a beginner-friendly, no-drop ride. E-BIKE CLASS: Sunday, May 18th @2-6:00pm (ReCity 112 Broadway St) - We’ll be hosting a special edition bike riding class: Everything You Need to Know About e-Bikes in partnership with our Adult & Teen Bike Riding Education Program and our sponsor eBike Central. (Click to Register)
RIDE OF SILENCE: Wednesday, May 21st @ 5:30pm (downtown CCB Plaza) - The Annual Ride of Silence, presented by Bike Law NC. Join Bike Durham and friends for a slow, silent bike ride around downtown to honor and remember those killed or injured while biking. All are welcome and encouraged to ride with us to show solidarity for the community of bikers and walkers who have lost their lives and whose families are forever changed. E-BIKE EXPO: Thursday, May 22nd @ 5:30-7:30pm (ReCity 112 Broadway St) - Our Second Annual E-bike Expo presented by eBike Central is sure to be a blast. This event is free and open to the public.
