Merrick-Moore Elementary

For 2021, our volunteers are hosting a Safe Routes to School event for the Merrick-Moore Elementary School on Cheek Rd. This will be an all-day event on May 4 (Tuesday because school isn't open Wednesday) starting at 8:15 AM. The Merrick-Moore Elementary school was chosen for this event due it it’s lack of safety amenities for children walking or biking to school - there are no sidewalks or bike lanes and the the road is heavily traveled.
