Transit Trip: NC Museum of Life & Science

The NC Museum of Life & Science transit trip is a free, family-friendly event that encourages participants to explore Durham while using public transit. GoDurham buses are currently fare-free, and April 27th is a community day at the Museum, which means that all Durham residents get in free with proof of residence in Durham County. Once at the museum, attendees can participate in self and staff-guided activities before departing back to downtown with the group via the bus.
*Please note this transit trip will require a 15 walk from the bus stop to the Museum both ways*

Schedule:
12:00-1:00pm - (Optional) Check out the Earth Day Festival at Central Park
1:00pm - Gather at Bike Durham table at the Earth Day Festival
1:15-1:30pm - Walk over to the bus stop on Rigsbee to take Route #4 (departs 1:30pm)
1:30-1:45pm - Get off bus at Roxboro Rd/Maynard Ave (NB) stop
1:45-2:00pm - 15 min walk from the bus stop to the NC Museum of Life & Science
2:00-3:15pm - Activities at the NC Museum of Life & Science
3:20pm - Walk back to bus stop and catch #4 back to downtown (departs 3:40pm)
Arrive back at Central Park before 4pm
