Ghost Buildings Tour

In honor of Halloween, take this self-guided 9-mile tour of some of the “ghost buildings” of Durham - important buildings from Durham’s history that have been torn down. Stand at the site of these old theaters, schools, and homes, look at the photographs we have included with the route, and compare how the city used to look to what you see in front of you.
Difficulty level: Moderate (some main road, length of ride)
Age level: Adults, young adults
Appropriate for: Road bicycles, hybrid bicycles, mountain bicycles
