Ghost Stories of Durham
For two nights only (10/23 & 10/31), Bike Durham volunteers will guide you through some of the most haunted locations of Durham. From the North Carolina School of Science and Math, where the ghost of a nurse walks the hallways of the building, which used to be a hospital, to Carl Jung's poltergeist and its connection to Duke's Parapsychology Lab, learn more about Durham's ghostly and ghastly past!
Wear a costume, light up and decorate your bike for extra spooky fun!
Difficulty level: Moderate (some main roads, length of ride, takes place at dusk)
Age level: Adults, young adults
Appropriate for: Road bicycles, hybrid bicycles, mountain bicycles

This will be an in-person event, so we are taking precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
We encourage all participants to be vaccinated. While we will not be asking for proof, we ask that you stay at home if you are not vaccinated.
Volunteers and participants should not attend if they have tested positive for COVID-19, have any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive within the last two weeks.
Please note that this ride also takes place at dusk, so you should have front and rear lights and be comfortable riding in low light.
