Topic: Keeping Transit Investments On-Track in East Durham [REGISTER]
A number of very important transit improvements have recently occurred or are planned for east Durham, including:
10-minute bus service on Holloway Street between Durham Station and the Village Shopping Center
Continuous sidewalk and bus stop upgrades on Holloway Street from Dillard Avenue to Junction Rd
A new transit center at The Village Shopping Center
Central Durham Bus Rapid Transit project between The Village Shopping Center and Duke Medical Center
We'll provide updates on these projects, share the output of the March 14 Fare-Free Stakeholders Summit to Build a Rider-led Transit Equity Campaign, and ask for your input on how to keep the projects on-track.
