Move-A-Bull City 2024

When: SUNDAY, October 13th, 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Where: central park
501 Foster St, Durham, NC 27701

Join us for a celebration of sustainable transit in the heart of Durham. Move-A-Bull City will feature the following activities:

1:00-5:00pm:
- Help create our pop-up protected bike lane on Foster St
- ‘Heavy Hauler’ fully-loaded e-cargo bike test rides
- World's Slowest Bike obstacle course competition
- Kids' Zone with activities from PBS Kids and Bull City Woodworking
- Bike tune-ups from Durham Bike Co-op’s mobile clinic, Bumble
1:45pm: Walking Tour of sections of the Proposed Durham Rail Trail
5:00pm: Event closes with ~10 mile and 4 mile (family option) group bike rides ending at Remy's at Five Points (See route here - family portion is an out-and-back section of the ATT)

We will also be holding a "Stuff-the-Bus" non-perishable food donation drive to benefit the Emanuel Food Pantry. You can bring items to the event, drop them off in advance at ReCity (112 Broadway Street), or make a monetary donation (here). Preferred items to donate:

- Canned Tuna
- Canned Chicken
- Cereals
- Pasta
- Canned Tomatoes
- Canned Vegetables

Rides will depart on time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time to check in.
