Level 3

Ride the Real World, Ride Durham! 

In this class we will ride a route in the real world! You will have the opportunity to apply everything you have learned in the previous 2 classes, in the streets of Durham. This class requires a level of confidence and skills gained in the previous classes; students are encouraged to have participated in Level 2 - Ready To Ride! in order to join this level 3 class.

Our instructors will carefully plan the route in order for it to be safe and to cover most riding infrastructure in the city of Durham.

A tuned up bike is required (brakes and gears properly functioning).

Details:

• Class duration: 4 hours

• Class location: ReCity, 112 Broadway St, Durham, NC 27701

• Class size: 15 adults and teens

• Age required: 13 years old or older

• Number of instructors: 2 or 3 trained and qualified instructors

• Requirements: Bring your own bike and helmet.

• Prerequisites: We encourage students to attend and complete the Level 2 - Ready To Ride class. Bring your own bike and helmet.

• Pricing: We are pleased to offer a sliding scale option, please see registration page below for details.

• Cancellation Policy: Students must provide a minimum of a 48 hours notice to cancel, reschedule, or transfer to another eligible student.

  • A cancellation must be made within a 48 hour time frame to receive a refund.

  • A reschedule to a different class date/time request must be made within a 48 hour time frame.

  Registration cancellations, reschedules, or transfer requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class time forfeit the class fee. No Shows or early departure from class forfeit the class fee.

  If a class is canceled by Bike Durham, participants will receive a full refund or have the option to reschedule to a future class.

  All cancellations, reschedules, transfer requests should be communicated via email to ensure proper documentation and processing.
