Level 2

Ready to ride! Bicycle skills and confidence building

In this class we will spend the whole time on the bike in a safe, protected and traffic-free environment. We will practice balance and advanced skills drills, such as steering, avoiding sudden obstacles, start and stop, and weaving obstacles.

Ready to Ride is the natural progression for students that attended the Get Ready to Ride class, but we welcome all participants that know the basics of balancing and already know how to ride.

In this class we will cover the topic of defensive cycling, and we will discuss how to use public transit with your bike in Durham!
